Every WindField subscription includes a suite of companion data fields for your Garmin device — one for every riding focus. There are iPhone apps too.
The Full Suite
How they all work
Most companion apps display a single value on your Garmin screen — clean and distraction-free while you ride. Tap the field to cycle through its related metrics on the fly. You can also configure Favorites so only the values you care about appear in the cycle, making it fast to navigate. Apps install from the Garmin Connect IQ Store and are configured through the Garmin Connect app on your phone.
How to register
After installing an app, open Garmin Connect IQ on your phone, go to My Device → Data Fields, tap the app name, open Settings, then enter the email address you used to purchase WindField in the email field. This links the app to your subscription.
Radar+
PRO & UltimateLive animated radar on your Garmin screen. Radar+ plays a sequence of three successive radar images — just like a TV weather newscast — so you can see the direction and speed of approaching weather at a glance. Updates every 30 minutes on PRO and every 10 minutes on Ultimate. Requires a device with API Level 4 or higher, or a Karoo 2/3.

Pollen+
Ultimate Only NewCurrent pollen conditions for your ride location. Pollen+ shows tree, grass, and weed pollen index values, plus the active in-season plants reported for your area. Tap the field or use auto-scroll to rotate through each pollen category and plant type.
WF Performance+
PRO & UltimateFocused on how you're riding. WF Performance+ cycles through your key cycling performance metrics — power, cadence, heart rate, training load, and more — keeping one clean field on your screen with the numbers that matter most for your effort.
WF Weather+
PRO & UltimateAll the current conditions around you, in one field. WF Weather+ cycles through live weather values pulled from the same data sources as your main WindField app.
WF AQI+
PRO & UltimateKnow what you're breathing. WF AQI+ cycles through air quality and environmental metrics for your current location — useful for training days when smog, wildfire smoke, or high UV could affect your performance or health.
WF Grade+
Free & aboveThe built in Garmin Grade is notorisly slow to update. Grade+ uses a smarter faster calculation and updates within seconds to each section of a climb.
iPhone Apps
Separate from your Garmin fields
These are standalone iPhone apps from the App Store, each sold on its own — they are not part of a WindField subscription, and a WindField subscription is not required to use them. WindField and BikeMinder are each free to download with their own separate subscription inside the app.
